This Teams Pursuit debutante now holds three Worlds' medals, winning two as a junior alongside her recent Elite Worlds success, plus one World Cup victory to augment her burgeoning haul. Lauren's relatively quick acquirement of medals is certain to multiply as she matures her pedaling diet of track and road racing.

The Cantabrian now turns her focus from the boards to the tarmac in N. America, where she'll initiate her summer of N. Hemisphere road racing as a rising force on the road. Lauren will link with 2009 Jazz team mates Dotsie Bausch, Ruth Corset, Malindi Maclean and Susy Pryde at the Arkansas Joe Martin Stage Race, running over four days from May 7-10 www.joemartinstagerace.com. Later in May the Jazz squad will be further bolstered by the addition of English based Kiwi Olympian, Rosara Joseph and Canadian powerhouse Steph Roorda.
