Tour Down Under
FUJI-SERVETTO stepped-up during the 3rd stage of the Tour Down Under, over a 136-km route from Unley to Victor Harbor. Spaniard Javier Megias got into a selected group of 14 riders, including Rogers, O'Grady, Moncoutie and Lance Armstrong, which lead the breakaway for nearly 100 kilometres before being caught by the peloton. With 30 kilometres left to the finish, a chase broke the peloton into several groups. The high tempo in the main group led to a crash, affecting four team riders - Clarke, Vigano, Capelli and Nardello. Capelli, experiencing injuries on his hand, and Nardello, experiencing injuries to his back, were forced to give up.

After the breakaway was caught by the 48-man peloton, Megias attempted an attack with 2 k's remaining, but it was not enough to win the mass sprint. Graeme Brown (Rabobank) took the win in the 3rd stage.

The fourth stage will be ridden today, with a 143-km route from Burnside Village to Angaston being covered.

Tour de San Luis
The 3rd stage of the Tour de San Luis was a 19-km individual time trial, Argentinian Giacinti (Arg. National Team) taking the stage win, while team mate Lucero took the race's leadership. Del Nero is now the best placed rider for FUJI-SERVETTO in the General Classification. Tomorrow, we will attend to the second mountain-top finish of the race, in a 159-km journey from San Luis to La Carolina.
